International Day of Older Persons is held every year on October 1 as a way of celebrating the contributions that older people make as well as identifying key issues that concern them.
To raise awareness of this important event, Paragon International School’s Secondary Campus recently started a photo contest themed ‘Connecting Generations–A moment with my Grandparents’ as led by our Music and Arts Team. All entries were posted and exhibited in the reception area on the ground floor, allowing students to cast their votes for the top three winning photos. The number of votes would decide the first, second and third prize winners.
Certificates were given to all participating in the competition while the top three received both certificate and gift from the School. It was a fun and engaging activity.
