Before the lunch bell strikes, the fire alarm rang and alerted almost 500 people in the building to evacuate through the emergency exits. The alarm lasted to around 5 minutes, just in time for all to safely proceed to their assigned assembly area. While the drill was first time to almost all Grade 1 students, it was carried out well. Returning students are already familiar of the routine and followed directions accordingly.
